Problems by opening the results from cloud solving

Hello,

I just started to use the CFD software and a problem accured by solving the simulation in the cloud. The whole process works without problems, but if I try to open it, no results are shown. The modell looks like before the calculation.

Am I doing something wrong? Do I have to open it in a special way?

Hi @Lisa.Büscher,

This can happen for a lot of different reasons. Can you please attach a screenshot showing what your UI looks like? What do the status and summary files look like? Open a windows explorer window and navigate to where the project is being saved. Go into the Design Folder > Scenario > Solver > and see if there's an .res files there. Those are the results file and would indicate if your results got back to your project successfully or not.

Thanks,

Hi,

I think I found out, what the problem was. I saved the files into the onedrive cloud, after I copied everything on my Computer it worked.

There were no files inside the solver folder, while I saved everything into the onedrive. I found some 7z files in another folder, but didn`t know how to unpack them.

Nevertheless, now everything is working.

Anyway, thank you very much for your help!

Hi @Lisa.Büscher,

Glad to hear you were able to resolve this. Yeah, working on a CFD project that is synced with a cloud storage service will cause problems. It is not recommended.

Thanks,
