Autodesk CFD Won't start

I've never seen this error before, but when I open a Revit model and try launching Autodesk CFD 2017 or 2018, a window pops up that says CFD 201X - Error and within the window, it says No Category (See image)

I then get this error once I hit close.

Revit Error 2.PNG

When I click OK, CFD Starts like it usually does, but after a couple minutes, it shuts down and I have to send an error report. Is this an error with my model? Or is this something else. Thanks!

Hi @bblankenshipW4886,

SO you are trying to launch CFD 2017 or CFD 2018 from Revit. What year of Revit are you using? Does this behavior occur on only this geometry or all models? Can you launch CFD with just a basic cube drawn up inside of Revit? If a basic cube works, then it means the launcher is having a hard time with your geometry.

I suggest trying to run Revit as administrator. It will probably not fix the problem but I suggest it anyway as the CAD connection is initiating another peice of software to launch.
