Hello,

i simulate a pipe und can see the effects and results how i want.

now i go back to the Boundary Conditions, and want to change the volumes/s oder anything else, but i cant. i have to wait 5 minutes, and then i can click on edit and give new values.

why ? i use the student version 2018.

thank you.

I belive thats the time your computer takes to update the values or something, i might also think it has to do with user requests sent to autodesk.
Anyway, a quick solution for this i found is duplicating you scenario or design, so you can just work on that in the meantime f.ex:

Thank you for your answer.

This is a good idea, working with more scenarios should work.  thanks again

If the model is not running, this should be instantaneous.

It might be that your model was solving though and that you had to wait for the final iteration to finish? If not, I think you have an issue :)

Maybe it has to do with the student version?
The solver is definetly finished with the last iteration, still takes ages(some minutes before anything can be changed)

Maybe it uploads stuff for autodesk to check if we are doing student things :D ?

Not related to the student version, that would be mean :D

It is because it is saving the data and moving it from a temporary location back to your working directory. Mine does the same ;)
