motion simulation of flexible material

Hello everyone,

I have one problem in which one flexible body will go into the pipe of smaller diameter than the diameter of body. So, the body will be compressed after entering the pipe.

So, my concern is that it is possible to simulate this phenomena or not?

regards,

Akshay Kumar

Hi @KumarAkshay,

Sadly applying flexibility to solids is currently not possible in Autodesk CFD.

Hopefully one day!

All the best,

David

This isn’t CFD right? I suggest you ask on the Nastran or Nastran in-CAD forum, pretty sure we can do this and also sure they will help you :)

You will find them right here: https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/custom/page/page-id/Discussions-Page
